These words were printed on the Barnabas Award presented to Helen Conklin on February 23, but they fall short of expressing why she was chosen to receive the word. Her humble acceptance as Jill Gasparri had the honor and pleasure to present the award, in the presence of her friends and church family, was representative of what makes Helen the perfect personification of the character of Barnabas – the encourager (Acts 4:36).
